For the renovation of Baribhasa Road the state government has allocated funds to the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA)

Siliguri, 22nd December: In recent developments, the state government has allocated funds to the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) for the renovation of Baribhasa Road. On Friday, SJDA Chairman Sourabh Chakraborty revealed the information through a press conference at Siliguri PWD Inspection Bungalow. Addressing the media, Chairman Sourabh Chakraborty recently stated that the state government has already allocated Rs 21 crore for the development of the Siliguri city and adjoining areas. In fact he added that a road will be constructed from Jabrabhita underpass of Dabgram-Fulbari Constituency to Bhabesh Petrol Pump for which Rs 97 lakh has been allocated. In addition, several roads will be renovated in various Wards including Ward No. 36, 39, 40, 42 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC). He added that several new roads will be officially inaugurated in the month of January which is actually good news.

Today road is very important infrastructure for any place as everything actually depends on it. This step taken by government is very good as it will help common people of Siliguri very much. It also becomes our responsibility to use road correctly and follow traffic rules. In reality renovation of road will help people in many ways making their life style better.
