ExxonMobil features first-ever F4 Indian Championship in the country and the second season IRL

ExxonMobil is boosting India’s motorsports industry by hosting the Indian Racing Festival this year, which includes the first-ever F4 Indian Championship and the second season of the Indian Racing League at Chennai’s Madras International Circuit and the new Formula Racing Circuit. This year marks a first in India and South Asia with an exciting calendar of night races at the FCR, located in the city’s heart.

ExxonMobil has partnered with Racing Promotions Pvt Ltd for the second consecutive year, aiming to boost the popularity and accessibility of motorsports in India and make it more affordable for all enthusiasts. Vipin Rana, CEO–ExxonMobil Lubricants Pvt. Ltd., said: “The event will further spur the popularity of motorsports in the country.”

ExxonMobil has partnered with IRL at the IRL Pre-Season Test in Chennai, where drivers showcased Mobil 1TM products and Mobil 1TM branding. The partnership provides confidence to racers with Mobil 1TM’s exceptional engine performance, a key factor in racing. IRL Season 2 is India’s first franchised-based motorsports league, featuring seven city-based teams. It’s India’s only four-wheel racing league and the world’s first gender-neutral championship. IRL nurtures talent through internship programs.
