Ex-President Ram Nath Kovind moves out of Rashtrapati Bhavan, arrives at new residence

Ram Nath Kovind, the now-former President of India, vacated Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday, after his successor in the best office, Droupadi Murmu, was once sworn-in as the country’s fifteenth President.

However, before he left, Kovind received a final tri-service guard of honor.

Kovind and his wife Savita will now reside in the national capital on 12, Janpath. Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who lives 10, across the street, will be a neighbor of the former first couple.
