ELECRAMA 2025 kicks off, ushers India’s next-gen electrical revolution

ELECRAMA 2025, the world’s largest electrical exhibition, commenced today at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, setting the stage for transformative advancements in India’s power sector. Organized by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), the 16th edition of the event highlights India’s leadership in global energy transition and electrification. Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister of Power and Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs, inaugurated the event, reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening India’s energy infrastructure. “India aims to achieve 800 GW of generation capacity by 2030, with 50% from renewables. Expanding EV infrastructure and smart grid technologies will accelerate the country’s clean energy shift,” Khattar stated.

Industry leaders, including Oliver Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, and Matthias Rebellius, CEO of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, emphasized India’s growing role in global electrification. Sunil Singhvi, President of IEEMA, highlighted the country’s push for renewable energy and electric mobility, positioning it as a key global player in energy solutions.

Vikram Gandotra, Chairman of ELECRAMA 2025, underscored the event’s significance, featuring over 1,100 exhibitors, 400,000+ visitors, and $20 billion in business inquiries. The Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) is set to connect Indian manufacturers with 500 international buyers, reinforcing India’s role as a global energy hub. ELECRAMA 2025 also hosts the World Utility Summit, CEO Summit, and Innovation Awards, focusing on energy transition, digital transformation, and upskilling. As the Indian power sector advances, the event serves as a key platform for global collaborations, solidifying India’s position as a leader in energy innovation.
