The 24th Hornbill Festival in Kohima, Nagaland, concluded with a cultural extravaganza and grand finale, featuring the Honored Guests Ms Melinda Pavek, United States Consul General, and Dr Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner.
The festival concluded with a partnership between the organizers and Durex The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT) as the Health and Hygiene Partner. Gaurav Jain, Executive Vice President, South Asia, Reckitt, the TBBT, emphasized the partnership’s importance, stating that it demonstrates Reckitt’s commitment to fostering a cleaner and healthier world.
The partnership also allowed Reckitt to engage with the vibrant young adults and youth in the Northeast, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable future. The festival featured the participation of Chaitali Panmei, principal chief commissioner of income tax, Dr. KekhrielhoulieYhome, and MLA Imkongmar and S. ToihoYeptho. Honoured guests included Plan International executive director Mohammed Asif and tribal guest S.TsapiseSangtam from the Sangtam tribe. The event was a testament to the festival’s inauguration and its commitment to a healthier future.
