Diya Aur Baati Hum actor Deepika Singh Goyal was called out online after she posted pictures and videos of herself dancing on the streets and posing with trees as Mumbai braved heavy rains.
The Maharashtra state witnessed heavy rainfall recently when cyclone Tauktae hit the state. Pictures of uprooted trees and water-filled roads had gone viral. Poor people shelters were blown away due to the winds. And amid this television actress Deepika Singh Goyal, popular for her role in Diya Aur Baati Hum, shared pictures of posing with uprooted tree and also posted a video of her dancing on social media. This act of her did not go well with her fans and she was trolled badly.
Alongside one of the posts, Deepika wrote, “You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. You can calm yourself, embrace nature and its gloomy moods because the storm will pass..Ps: This tree fell right outside my house nobody got hurt, but while putting it away from my door, Rohit and I managed to take few pictures to remember the #cyclonetauktae !. Deepika mentioned in her posts that it was her husband Rohit Goyal who clicked her pictures.
