Persons with special needs from these areas participated in the camp, which received support from members of various voluntary organizations including Naxalbari Gram Panchayat and United Club.
Apart from identifying disabled persons, an eye examination session was also conducted in the camp. The event aims to provide comprehensive support to the disabled community, ensuring that their needs are recognized and addressed.
After the identification process, those diagnosed will receive necessary support like tricycles, wheelchairs, battery operated wheelchairs and hearing aids in the upcoming post-puja period.
