For Delhi-NCR, the Met department has forecast dust storms from Monday and the maximum temperature will settle around 39 degrees Celsius.
Apart from Delhi, thundershowers are also predicted in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and East Rajasthan which will bring down the temperature in these regions.
“Barring parts of western Rajasthan and Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, no heat wave will be seen in any part of the country during the next five days,” senior IMD scientist RK Jenamani said.
