The Vibrant Gujarat roadshow, led by Shri MulubhaiBera, concluded in Guwahati on November 24, 2023, with industry leaders and government officials attending, marking a successful event in Gujarat. Ahead of the roadshow, Shri MulubhaiBera, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forest and Environment, Climate Change, Government of Gujarat held one-on-one meetings with various companies.
Shri MulubhaiBera, the Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forest and Environment, Climate Change, of the Government of Gujarat, delivered an address on the significance of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. He states that Gujarat’s government has implemented investor-friendly policies to enhance its investment ecosystem and is now a leading contributor to India’s exports. Shri MulubhaiBera also said “Gujarat contributed to more than 33% of India’s exports in the year 2022-23 which was the highest by any state in the country”.
The roadshow was organized for businesses and companies to explore the areas of collaboration and cooperation across various sectors such as Tourism & Hospitality, IT &ITeS, Semiconductor, Electronics, Aerospace & Defense, Biotechnology, and Chemical & Petrochemicals as well as to attract investments in future-ready mega projects such as GIFT City, Dholera SIR, and Biotech Park.
