Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday claimed that the crime detection rate in the state is high and no criminal is spared.
Sawant was responding to a question from reporters on the recent alleged rape of a British woman near Arambol beach in the North Goa district.
Sawant said the crime detection rate in Goa is “very high” and no criminal is allowed to go free.
The chief minister also said that the accused in the case of raping the British woman was also immediately arrested and is currently in jail.
