Cricketer Rohit Sharma dislocated finger, took injections to get back into the field: Rahul Dravid

India head coach Rahul Dravid appreciated captain Rohit Sharma’s hard work inspite of India’s series loss to Bangladesh on Wednesday, 7 December. Sharma, who was taken to the hospital after getting hurt in his thumb in the first innings, made a surprise come back into the game late in the day, at number 9.

When the match appeared like a lost cause, Rohit blasted 51* off 28 balls, taking India within reaching distance of the target. Finally, India lost the cricket match by just 5 runs, and were going through the end of the second ever ODI series loss by an Indian team. Coach Rahul Dravid spoke on the extent of Rohit’s wound at the post match press conference and told that the Indian batter had a severe injury on his finger.

The cricketer on that particular day hit 5 sixes and 3 boundaries with tailender Mohammed Siraj at the another end. Dravid assured that Rohit will be coming back to Mumbai and there is a chances that he might not be participating in the Test series.
