CPIM protest march in Naxalbari Demanded CM’s resignation over R.G. Kar incident

Naxalbari, August 20: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) on Tuesday took out a protest march and recently Demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister on the matter of R.G. Kar incident.

According to reports, the march started from CPIM’s Naxalbari party office and went till Panighata Mor, where protesters blocked the road on the state highway.
In this regard, Center of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) leader Gautam Ghosh criticized the Chief Minister’s response and raised questions as to whom the government is trying to save in connection with the brutal murder of a doctor. He stressed that the organization will continue its protest until justice is provided and the movement has demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister.
