Central Vigilance Commission observes Vigilance Awareness Week throughout the week during which thirty first of October, the birthday of the late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel falls. This year, Vigilance Awareness Week is being determined from thirty first October to sixth Gregorian calendar month 2022 with the subsequent theme: “Corruption-free Asian country for a developed Nation”. As a precursor to Vigilance Awareness Week 2022, the Central Vigilance Commission had dole out a three-month campaign light bound preventive vigilance initiatives as focus areas for all the Ministries, Departments, Organizations.
In course of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, public conferences are command at district and block levels involving the scholars, youth, academics, serving and retired Govt. officials, Self facilitate teams, NGOs and members of civil society so as to lift public awareness against perils of corruption and enlist the support of all the stakeholders within the anti-corruption campaign.
Further, debate, quiz, cartoon, slogans, painting, rangoli & poster competitions on anti-corruption theme amongst school} and college students are planned. Public rallies, walkathon and marathon etc. involving students and completely different|completely different} sections of society also will be union at different places to lift awareness.
