Conman Sukesh Chandrashekar Offers Rs 10 Cr Donation for Odisha Train Accident Victims

Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the prime accused in a Rupees 200 crore extortion case who has been put behind bars in Delhi’s Mandoli Jail, has provided Rs 10 crore to Indian Railways to help the victims of horrific train accident in Odisha’s Balasore district.

He has also written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw seeking his permission to accept the amount and claimed that the fund is from his “legitimate source” of earning.

In his letter, Sukesh said the provided fund can be used for the education of children who lost their parents in the accident. Terming the train accident an “unfortunate mishap”, Sukesh said the tragedy has completely taken him on deeply. “My heart and prayers are with all those sisters and brothers and their families,” he said.

“The said contribution is from my personal funds which is from my legitimate source of earning, which is, completely taxed, and the documentation along with returns filings shall be furnished along with the said demand draft of Rs 10 crore,” Chandrashekhar said.
