Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor were detained on Friday as they marched towards Rashtrapati Bhavan to protest against inflation, rate hike, GST and unemployment issues. Congress is holding massive protests even when the Delhi Police is there Denied permission for this. Paramilitary forces and Delhi Police blocked Vijay Chowk Avenue and the way from Parliament to Rashtrapati Bhavan with the help of barricades.
Women paramilitary personnel lined up on the other side of the barricade to prevent Congress MPs from protesting. They plan to surround the Prime Minister’s house. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, addressing a press conference, said that there is no democracy in India now and that our UK is under a dictatorship of four.
