Comedian Raju Srivastava’s condition has ‘neither improved nor worsened’ as he remains in ICU, daughter shares health update

Comedian Raju Srivastava is in the intensive care unit (ICU) of AIIMS after battling a coronary heart attack. His daughter Antara Srivastava shared a health transplant and said that there is no sign of improvement in her health. Raju had a coronary heart attack while working out at a gym.

On Wednesday, comic Sunil Pal, updated followers on social media, “Raju Srivastava has suffered a heart attack. He was admitted to AIIMS but now he is much better. With all your prayers and God’s blessings, he is doing well. He is safe.” Apart from this, Raju’s group also shared that he gained knowledge.

Now, Raju’s daughter Antara has told ETimes that she is still being treated by doctors in the ICU. “His condition has neither improved nor worsened. The entire scientific crew is doing their best. We are praying and hoping he recovers soon. My mother is in the ICU with him right now.”

Antara said, “My father has been touring usually to Delhi and other locations throughout the country for work. He makes it a factor to exercise in the fitness center each day and in no way misses his workout. He was flawlessly best and has had no heart ailments, so this is very shocking,”.


Raju became popular after appearing on the show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, where he was the second runner-up. Later, he also participated in Bigg Boss 3 and as a contestant on the comedy show Comedy Ka Maha Mukabala. He participated in Naach Balia Season 6 with his wife. Apart from reality shows, Raju has also appeared in numerous movies such as Import Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya, Bombay To Goa and Mein Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.
