CM Tamang sees promising future for Sikkim after meeting with PHDCCI

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on November 25 expressed optimism about the state’s economic future following a fruitful meeting with a delegation from the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI). The delegation presented a vision to transform Sikkim into a dynamic investment hub, focusing on innovative strategies to boost employment opportunities, particularly for the state’s youth.

Chief Minister Tamang lauded the proposals and invited the PHDCCI team to Sikkim for in-depth discussions. “Their vision for our state is promising. We are eager to host them in Sikkim to explore a more tailored and sustainable development plan,” he stated. The collaboration aims to create a comprehensive roadmap emphasizing sustainable growth, infrastructure enhancement, and youth empowerment, aligning with the state’s long-term economic goals.

Tamang reiterated his administration’s commitment to fostering a favorable investment climate, aiming to position Sikkim as a leader in sustainable development and job creation for its growing workforce.
