Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal inaugurated a new production facility of Star Cement at Mohitnagar in Jalpaiguri (West Bengal). This new production facility of Star Cement set up with an investment of over Rs 450-Crore is touted by industry experts as the Largest Private Sector Investment in North Bengal. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee praised the commitment and contribution of Star Cement towards overall socio-economic development of North-Bengal. She hoped that the brand-new cement plant which also has world-class machinery and the most advanced German technology deployed will set a new trend in the industrial sector of the region.
