CIIDRET and IoE-DSSEED joined forces to celebrate 100 years of education and empowerment- the ‘100 Days Skill Festival’ with 400 participants from 90 institutions were trained during the even. The festival began on December 17, 2022, at the University of Delhi South Campus, aligned with the Skill India Mission’s goal of equipping the nation’s young with the necessary skill sets to raise their employability in relevant sectors and boost production. By bringing together students, teachers, academics, businesses, and facilitators, it has not only established an ecosystem that promotes learning but also given a platform for cooperation and networking.
The 100-Day Skill Festival established CIIDRET’s motto of “Beyond Classroom Learning” with 13 training workshops, customised courses for skill development of students, research scholars, teachers, and scientists, and theoretical workshops/Faculty Development Programmes on advanced technologies employed in biotech.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said, “Delhi University, CIIDRET, and DSSEED have taken a step towards building an ecosystem that promotes learning, collaboration, and networking. The exposure to tools and techniques gained through these courses will not only increase employability but also inspire innovation and entrepreneurship. “
