State chief minister Neiphiu Rio laid down various administrative reports and bills (2020-21) in the ongoing seventh session of the thirteenth Assembly on February 15.
According to DIPR report, the reports were of Nagaland State Mineral Development Corporation Ltd; State Council of Educational Research & Training; Youth Resources and Sports; Industries and Commerce; Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; Excise & Prohibition; Chief Electoral Officer.
Rio also laid down Report and Rules of Annual Report of 2017-18 of Nagaland State Mineral Development Corporation Ltd; Annual Report 2018-19 of Nagaland Information commission and Nagaland Food security Rules 2016 of Food & Civil Supplies Department.
While, minister of Planning and Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu, laid down the administrative Report of the following departments of Planning & coordination and Land Revenue.
The assembly committee reports, 96th & 97th Reports of the Committee on Government Assurances, was presented by Keneizhakho Nakhro, MLA. Advisor Horticulture & Border Affairs, Mhathung Yanthan, chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings laid down a copy of 87th, 88th, 89th, 90th, 91st, 92nd and 93rd report on the examination of the Audit contained in the comptroller & Auditor General of India for 2012-13, 2015-16 pertaining to Nagaland Handloom &Handicrafts and Commerce & Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation Ltd.
Further, advisor School Education, K. Tokugha Sukhalu, presented a copy of 123rd & 124th report for the year 2014-15 to 2015-16 on the State of Finances Audit Report and Audit reports on the Social, Economic, Revenue and General sectors.
Rio also introduced the Nagaland Goods and Service Tax (Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2020. The bill is to be introduced on February 16, 2021.
