On Monday, the government oil companies released the prices of petrol and diesel, which remain stable. Prices remain unchanged in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. The last time there was a change in prices was in May 2022. Crude oil prices remain around $75 per barrel, with Brent crude at $ 75.26 and WTI crude at $ 71.33.

Public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs), including Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), revise their prices daily in line with international benchmark prices and foreign exchange rates. Petrol-diesel prices are issued daily at 6 am.
