Sensation prevails after a theft took place at a house in Gurung basty area of Ward No. 03 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
As per resources, the members of the house were out on Sunday. After their arrival, the noticed that the almirah was broken, and on calculations, nearly 2 lakh 24 thousand rupees cash was found missing. Besides, the thieves also fled away with gold and silver jewelry. A complaint was lodged at Pradhan Nagar Police Station regarding this crucial matter.
Meanwhile, the Pradhan Nagar Police reached the spot after receiving the news. After the initial investigation, the IC of Pradhan Nagar Police Station ordered to carry out patrolling in the area at night. An investigation regarding the incident has been launched.
