Siliguri, 12th December: Sensation prevailed after the body of a minor girl was found hanging from a noose in Nirjal area of Abhiram Jote in Bagdogra. The deceased has been identified as Sangita Barman (17), a student of 9th grade in Bagdogra Balika Vidyalaya. As per the reports on Monday evening Sangita left her house after a family dispute. Following this the family members and locals searched for her whereabouts the entire night, however, she was untraced. The following morning the locals spotted her body hanging from a tree. Upon receiving the news Bagdogra police arrived at the spot retrieved the deceased body and transported it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination. Currently the police are engaged in further investigation.
Actually this incident is very bad as an innocent girl dies from it. Today children need proper guidance so that they don’t suffer. It becomes very important for every school to teach students about these things so that in future the school children don’t face this type of problem. People should take care of their children properly and don’t fall them in such situation where they get difficulty. Children are future of our society and we should care them properly.
