Siliguri: The area adjacent to Siliguri Junction witnessed a sensation on Tuesday morning when locals spotted the body of a man. The deceased has been identified as Ravindra Dutt, a resident of Malani Jot area of Phansidewa.
According to reports, the body was found lying near the junction, following which the Pradhan Nagar police was immediately informed. On receiving the information, the police officer reached the spot without any delay and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Officials have begun investigating the incident to ascertain the cause of death. Further details are awaited.
