In Deori Autonomous Council, the ruling BJP won 12 seats out of 22 seats. Voting was held on Tuesday.
According to sources, the ruling party BJP has won the vote. Also, Congress won 2 seats and Independents won 8 seats.
Sarma tweeted, ”The resounding victory of @BJP4Assam & allies in Deori Autonomous Council election revalidates popular trust in our Govt guided by vision of Adarniya PM Shri @narendramodi ji. My deep gratitude to the voters of the Council area for giving us this huge mandate. I thank each party worker.”
Voting was held in 93 polling stations spread across six districts and four sub-divisions.
