Siliguri, April 22: On Tuesday, BJP Siliguri Organizational District Mandal Committee No. 01 staged a protest near Siliguri Junction Traffic Point and raised concerns over the SSC scam cases.
The BJP workers accused the state government of suppressing the investigation and protecting the culprits involved in the scam.
During the protest, the workers blocked the road and raised slogans against the government policies. The protest caught the attention of the local authorities and police from Pradhan Nagar Police Station reached the spot.
After negotiating with the protesters, the officials successfully stopped the protest and got the road blockade cleared.
