‘BJP a party of illiterates’: Manish Sisodia blasts Centre amid lens on Delhi govt. educational institutions

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday criticized the BJP-led Central Authority for over two years seeking a file from the Chief Secretary to work on the CVC report of an inquiry amid a review by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. Construction of additional lecture rooms in government schools.

Addressing an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) press briefing, Sisodia, who is the Additional Training Minister, said government schools in Delhi are outnumbered by private schools. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is a political party of illiterates and its leadership wants the country to remain that way.

“It (BJP) is a political party of illiterates and wants to maintain the growth of the country as illiterates. In their private states, they have closed countless public schools. They examine why so many authority faculties were closed under their rule,” Sisodia said at the briefing.

He said the BJP had raised issues with the Delhi authorities after the excise policy probe failed to find anything as part of the raids at Sisodia’s house.
