Delhi on Wednesday reported a huge spike in its daily COVID-19 cases, recording 1,009 new infections in the last 24 hours – a 60 percent increase from the previous day. This is the biggest spike in daily COVID-19 cases in Delhi since February 10 when 1,104 infections were reported.
Disclosing details, Delhi’s health department said the national capital’s positivity rate also rose to 5.7 percent, adding that only one COVID-19 death was reported on Wednesday.
Recently in Delhi 2,641 COVID-19 cases are active.
