Bhojpuri actress Monalisa, who is famous for her act in Bhojpuri movie, is playing the role of an erotic poetess in the web series ‘Hasratein’ and told she did maximum research to gain knowledge for her role.
After doing her research, she reached at the conclusion that only handful of female writers research erotica.
The actress has made her debut by working in a number of Bhojpuri, Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu language films. She had also worked in TV serials such as ‘Nazar’, ‘Namak Issk Ka’, ‘Nach Baliye 8’, ‘Smart Jodi’, and others.
‘Hasratein’ is directed by Shakuntalam Films, the series stars Monalisa, Adaa Khan, Krishna Mukherjee, Sahil Uppal, Ayush Anand, Sana Sayyad, Shilpa Tulaskar, Vin Rana, and Ravi Bhatia. It will be running on Hungama Play.
