Consumer durables maker Bajaj Electricals on Tuesday elevated its executive director Anuj Poddar to the post of managing director and chief executive officer (CEO).
An announcement by Bajaj Electricals said the company has separated the put-ups of chairman and managing director and its shopkeeper Shekhar Bajaj will move forward as executive chairman of the company.
Bajaj Electricals said, “Separation of the posts of Chairman and Managing Director marks the continuation of the professionalization of the company’s administration and the company’s commitment to strong corporate governance standards.”
