Assam success rate in class 10 board exams dips down

The Board of Secondary Education Assam (BESA) announced the results of the Class 10 board exams on Tuesday, with 56.49 percent passing out of 4,05,582 candidates, officials said.

The pass percentage among boys was 58.80 per cent, while among girls it was 54.49 per cent, they said.


A total of 2,29,131 candidates have cleared the exam. Dhemaji had the highest pass percentage of 85.46, while Chirang recorded the lowest of 34.27 per cent.

Additionally, before 2021, the pass percentage was 93.10.
