“As If I’m Their Servant”: CM Mamata Banerjee To Skip Netaji Statue Event

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee these days said that she will now not attend the inauguration of Netaji’s statue in Delhi which was held today as the invitation was “not proper”. The Chief Minister said she obtained a letter the day prior to this from a bureaucrat informing her about the cutting-edge events.

“I received a letter yesterday, written probably by an undersecretary the previous day pronouncing the PM will inaugurate the Netaji statue at 7 pm and you should be there at 6 pm. As if I am their servant or bonded labor. How can an undersecretary write to a Chief Minister? Why has the tradition minister turned out to be so big,” Mamata Banerjee stated at a party gathering in Kolkata.

“They have misplaced their senses. That’s why I garlanded the Netaji statue here in the afternoon nowadays to provide my respects. I have finished right here in Bengal what they would have accomplished in Delhi,” she said.
