Aryan Khan asks court to return his passport after getting clean chit in drugs case

Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aaryan Khan, who got a clean chit from the NCB in last year’s drug-on-cruise case, filed a plea for the return of his passport in a special NDPS court on Thursday. The court directed the NCB to file a reply and posted the matter on July 13 for hearing.

Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB in early October closing 12 months in the high-profile drugs case, but the probe organization didn’t identify him as an accused in a charge sheet filed in May.

Aryan Khan and five others were released by the NCB for “lack of sufficient evidence”. As per the bail conditions, Aryan Khan submitted his passport to the court.

On Thursday, he made a request to the court through his lawyers Amit Desai and Desai Desai Karimji and Mullar Rahul Aggarwal, seeking the return of his passport, he was not named in the charge sheet.
