Arjun Mohan becomes Byju’s India CEO, replacing Mrinal Mohit

Edtech firm BYJU’s founding partner and CEO of India operations Mrinal Mohit has resigned for “personal reasons”, the company said on Wednesday.

BYJU’s International Business CEO Arjun Mohan will take additional charge of heading country operations, it said.

“Arjun Mohan takes over as (CEO of India operations). He succeeds Mrinal Mohit, founding partner and outgoing India business head of BYJU’S, who is embarking on a new journey to pursue personal ambitions,” the company said in a statement. statement

Mohan was part of the founding team of BYJU and earlier was the Chief Business Officer. He rejoined the company from an upgrade in July.

“If BYJU has reached extraordinary heights, it is because of the extraordinary efforts of our founding team. Mrinal’s contribution has left an indelible mark on our organization, and we bid him a bittersweet farewell,” said Byju Founder and Group CEO Baiju Raveendran.

BYJU’s said Mohan has worked closely with Raveendran for the past three months.
