The cases of explosion of mobile phones left in a charge overnight is increasing with each passing day. A family in the UK was lucky enough to escape from such an explosion, when a mobile phone caught fire while charging overnight.
In the backdrop of such cases, Apple has requested everyone to not leave mobile phones for charging overnight.
The company has also issued guidelines regarding this, which states that any individual shouldn’t keep their devices under pillow or blanket as it may cause the device to get heated quickly.
Neither they should sleep against a mobile phones left in a charging mode overnight. As the result of this activities can be life threatening.
To minimise the chances of damage/injury, plug an Apple USB power adapter safely and directly into a power outlet. “Don t use the power adapter in wet locations, such as near a sink, bathtub, or shower stall, and don’t connect or disconnect the power adapter with wet hands,” the tech giant added.
