Bollywood celebrity Akshay Kumar has a Rakhi sister and she is ‘Anupama’ megastar Rupali Ganguly. Rupali will be considered tying Rakhi to Akshay and her first meeting with him. Akshay is coming to the unit of reality show ‘Rabivar with Star Parivar’ to promote his film ‘Raksha Bandhan’.
As both Akshay and Rupali celebrate Rakhi, the ‘Anupama’ fame calls him her ‘Rakhi Bhai’.
Rupali says: “Akshay and I go way back. He is my rakhi-bhai. We made a miscommunication when he became such a big personality. It gets a little awkward after a while.”
Talking about her first meeting with Akshay, she said: “It was once back in 1992 when I started tying him ‘Rakhi’ and in 2022, I see him again and thanks to the show, get to tie another ‘Rakhi’.”
During the show, the families who stage the daily fictional drama, compete with each other through many things including dancing and singing, and the existing group is introduced as the ‘best Parivaar’.
