Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) General Secretary Kamrul Islam Choudhury resigned from the primary membership of the party.
Choudhury said the “directionless and confused leadership of the APCC” was the reason for quitting.
He also mentioned that “It is sad that no Congress leader is coming from Delhi to do ground study. It is difficult for people in Congress to work.
Kamrul Islam Chaudhary was earlier National Secretary of the National Students Union of India (NSUI), Congress student wing and also President of Assam Pradesh Youth Congress.
