Amul India never fails to win hearts. As India lost its veteran industrialist Rahul Bajaj, the popular dairy brand paid a heartfelt tribute to him that will make you emotional. Amul shared a monochrome doodle on social media that is now going viral.
It showed a monochrome doodle of the head of the Bajaj group. On top of the pic, the tagline reads, “Mera, uska, unka, inka, hamara Bajaj…” Amul captioned the post, “#Amul Topical: Tribute to one of India’s most dynamic and respected industrialists.”
Industrialist and former chairman of Bajaj Group Rahul Bajaj passed away on February 12 at his home in Pune. He had pneumonia and a heart problem and was admitted to the hospital for a month. He was 83.
The industrialist will be cremated with full state honours today. “It is with deep sorrow that I inform you about the passing away of Shri Rahul Bajaj, husband of the late Rupa Bajaj and father of Rajiv/Deepa, Sanjiv/Shefali and Sunaina/Manish. He passed away on the afternoon of 12th February, 2022 in the presence of his closest family members,” a statement from Bajaj Group read.
Tributes from all across the country poured in for the former chairman. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind also took to Twitter to express their condolences.
“Shri Rahul Bajaj Ji will be remembered for his noteworthy contributions to the world of commerce and industry. Beyond business, he was passionate about community service and was a great conversationalist. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family and friends. Om Shanti,” reads PM Modi’s statement.
