Amazon India launched seller registration and account management services in Bengali. This launch will benefit thousands of existing Amazon sellers and new sellers from tier-2 and below markets to run their business on Amazon.in marketplace in a language of their choice and preference.
Sellers will now be able to register on Amazon.in and manage their online business from a selection of eight languages including Bengali. Using any of the regional languages, sellers can do everything from registering as an Amazon seller for the first time, to managing orders, inventory and accessing performance metrics – all in the language of their preference.
Dr. Partha Chatterjee, Minister-in-Charge, Departments of Industry, Commerce and Enterprises, Information Technology & Electronics and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal said, “It’s realty a matter of great pleasure that Amazon is going to launch Sellers registration Account Management Services in our state in Bengali and some other vernacular languages.”
Amazon will continue to evolve the experience to add more features in Bengali helping thousands of MSMEs to enjoy the benefits of registering and managing their business in a language of their choice and convenience. Amazon Sellers who wish to change their preferred language can change it in a few simple steps on both Amazon’s Seller website and Seller mobile app.
