Alia Bhatt to jet off to Hyderabad next week to shoot the pending scenes of SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’
After seven months of lockdown, filmmaker SS Rajamouli resumed the shooting of his magnum opus, ‘RRR’ in the first week of October. Now, reports are rife that Alia Bhatt will be jetting off to Hyderabad to shoot for the remaining portions of her scenes in the film.
According to a report in a news portal, Alia had only one scene remaining when the shooting of the film was stopped due to the pandemic and the lockdown in March. Now, the actress will shoot a major confrontation scene with NT Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan in the first week of November. The sequence will reportedly see the character of Bheem having an ideological clash with Sitarama Raju and Alia’s character. The report also added that the scene was to be shot at a bungalow in Pune. However, the makers changed their plans after the pandemic.
Alia is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ in Kamathipura. The actress will fly to Hyderabad after wrapping up the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ schedule.
Meanwhile, Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring beau Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres on December 4, 2020.
Alia is also a part of Karan Johar’s period drama, ‘Takht’. The film boasts of an ensemble star cast that includes, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi and Anil Kapoor.
