Adjacent to the Tukuriajhar forest area a wild elephant has been spotted wandering near local communities

Recently a wild elephant has been spotted wandering near local communities adjacent to the Tukuriajhar forest area. In fact the elephant’s presence, particularly around the Panitanki area, has caused considerable alarm among residents. Actually locals reported that the elephant has been roaming the area for the past month. Also they noted that the animal appears to have an injury on its leg, raising concerns about its health and the potential threat it poses. In fact residents are urging for immediate veterinary attention for the injured elephant.

In response to the situation, Debesh Pandey, the Forest Officer of the Kurseong Forest Division, actually confirmed that they are aware of the elephant’s presence. He also stated that the injury appeared to be old and indicated that a team from Bengal Safari Park would be dispatched to provide medical care to the elephant soon. Today humans are developing very fast and due to this they forget to take care the nature. In fact we need to take care the animals for everyone betterment.
