Adani Ports Mundra berths the largest container ship, MV MSC Hamburg

Mundra Port, the flagship of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), has successfully berthed MV MSC Hamburg, a 399 meters long and 54 meters wide vessel with a carrying capacity of 15,908 TEU, marking a significant achievement for the Adani Group. The ship, built in 2015, was anchored at the port on July 2nd, 2023, marking a significant achievement for the APSEZ in Mundra, Gujarat.

Demonstrating its efficiency in the maritime transport sector. Interestingly, the historic event took place in the same month when the Geneva-based Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Adani International Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd.’s joint venture completed 10 years.APSEZ, part of the Adani Group, is India’s largest port developer and operator, with strategically located ports on the west and east coasts.
