Newly married Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have flown down to Delhi from Jaisalmer in a private charter plane or a chopper on February 8 (Wednesday), according to the sources. Both of them will straight forward go to Sidharth’s Delhi residence where Kiara Advani will be given a grand welcome from the groom’s family. Traditional ritual Griha pravesh will also be performed.
As per the traditional rituals of Punjabi , the newly wed girl and boy gets a warm welcome from boys family side where the mom wishes the bride and groom with aarti and then the bride moves into the house by tossing a pot full of rice with her right foot, which is followed by fun games.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are all set to conduct two receptions program – one has been programmed to be held in Delhi which is meant for Sidharth’s family, scheduled to take place on 9th of February, and the other in Mumbai for the industry friends, which is scheduled to take place on February 12.
