Actors Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar are currently promoting their upcoming film Prithviraj. In a new video shared by a paparazzo account, Akshay is seen on his knees as he holds Manushi’s hand. Fans reacted to the video and Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna joked about his reaction to his action.
In the video shared by paparazzo’s account, Manushi is seen wearing a yellow lehenga while Akshay is seen opting for an all-black look. A smiling Akshay then kneels down and protects Manushi’s hand. He later went up and each of them posed for the paparazzi.
A fan commented, “I wonder what Twinkle Khanna will do after watching this video.” “Can’t wait for Twinkle to add a fun video on this,” said another. A person asked, “Where is Twinkle Khanna?” When a Lalan Manushi chants “Om! This lehenga is so beautiful.” A character also sees Manushi’s expression and says, “She won’t be completely satisfied with this.”
Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithviraj revolves around the legendary warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the lead role. The film is slated to release on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The film’s crew had earlier revealed that they had to make more than 50,000 costumes and used more than five hundred unique turbans during the shoot.
During the film’s trailer launch match, Akshay said that he learned about Prithviraj’s lifestyle and paradigm through the book Prithviraj Raso and realized how little people knew about the ruler. He said, “I was once given a book to read, ‘Prithviraj Raso’ by Dr. Saheb (Chandraprakash). I slowly checked the e-book and realized what a great warrior he was. But when we read about him in history, he is relegated to a single paragraph.”
