Aaftab Poonwala, who intentionally murdered his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and cut down her body parts into 35 pieces, was to 13-day judicial custody by a Delhi court this afternoon. The Delhi Police had asked for his custody for interrogation into the murder. He will be taken to Delhi’s Tihar Jail later today.
Aaftab was made to attend the court session via video conferencing from Ambedkar Hospital, where he was taken for a medical check-up by the cops this morning. The cops have taken additional steps to keep Poonawala isolated from the public and the media.
The Delhi Cops went back to the hospital with Aaftab around 2:30 pm and kept him in a room inside the hospital. He was presented before the court from there.
Poonawala has undergone marathon polygraph tests and will now undergo a narco test on Monday as the polygraph report have proved nothing.
