The Discover Ravangla State Level Cho-Dzo Festival 2025, a six-day great celebration of Sikkim’s rich cultural legacy, scenic beauty, and athletic spirit, is being prepared in Ravangla in Namchi District. The event, which is set for April 11–16, 2025, is particularly significant because it falls during Sikkim’s 50th year of independence. Tshering T. Bhutia, Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, visited the festival site today to assess continuing preparations in order to guarantee a seamless execution.
Along with him were members of the organizing committee, delegates from the panchayat, OSD Buddha Park Tsheten Bhutia, Barfung MLA Riksal D. Bhutia, CLC President Narayan G. Gurung, and Zilla Panchayat member Anjana Sharma. The Discover Ravangla-Cho-Dzo Festival Committee is putting a lot of effort into making this event a success, with assistance from the Government of Sikkim’s Department of Tourism & Civil Aviation. The festival hopes to increase tourism in the area by drawing tourists from all across the state and beyond.
The Chief Minister Volleyball Gold Cup, which will take place during the festival from April 11 to April 16, is a prominent highlight of the occasion. Furthermore, on April 16, an intrastate volleyball tournament that started on April 2 will come to an end. Top teams and gifted athletes are anticipated to attend these sporting activities, which will heighten the celebrations’ excitement. Minister Bhutia carefully examined the festival’s setup during his visit and offered insightful suggestions to enhance its planning. In order to ensure the festival’s success, he also promised the Tourism & Civil Aviation Department’s full assistance.
