Siliguri, October 29: A man has been arrested for possessing a huge quantity of illegal firecrackers. The accused has been identified as Abhijit Roy.
According to the report, Siliguri police had received information that a person was standing in front of Milanpalli Sukantha Sporting Club with a large quantity of firecrackers. After this, the police raided and caught the suspect.
Police sources revealed that the accused was trying to sell firecrackers. The accused was produced in Siliguri court on Tuesday, while the police are currently investigating the case.
