5.5 Lakh customers have adopted Rapido

India’s leading bike-taxi and auto service platform Rapido has received an overwhelming response from both the passengers and driver-partners in Guwahati. 5.5L customers have adopted the ride-hailing service as an alternative mode of travel and the service provider has also generated employment opportunities for 60k Captains in the city.

Launched in 2018 in Guwahati, the platform provides an efficient alternative travel solution to passengers, while creating income opportunities for driver partners. The leading bike-taxi and auto service platform is deeply committed to the well-being of its passengers and thus has unique initiatives such as providing a helmet and insurance to safeguard them. Rapido launched Rapido Local, a delivery service for the exchange of materials. It also diversified to launch Rapido Auto for providing Auto Rickshaw services. The Rapido app has enabled the Captains to match with the nearest passengers and minimized the problem of empty rides. Any bike owner with required documents such as Aadhaar Card, Driving License and a RC can join the group to reap its benefits.
The Co-Founder of Rapido Mr. Aravind Sanka said, “We would like to take this opportunity to assure our current and potential commuters of our commitment to their utmost convenience and safety.”
