A Parliamentary commission has noticed that the Delhi Police has up to 13,525 open positions, or almost 14% of the 94,254 authorised positions.
The hiring procedure to fill the 3,861 open positions is currently underway, according to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, which is chaired by BJP MP Brijlal. The committee also suggested that the hiring process be finished within a set amount of time.
The committee’s report, which was delivered to Parliament on Friday, stated that there were 13,525 open positions in the Delhi Police, which represents almost 14% of the 94,254 authorised personnel.
